The cat in the tree

My friend had a cute but dull, tabby cat named esque that loved the outdoors. One day, he got lost and could not be found for several days. Then one day, a neighbor a few blocks down called to report that a cat was stuck up a great big pine tree in their yard. My friend went over immediatley to find that the cat that was stuck in the tree was esque. He had been up there for several nights, and  couldn't get down. They had tryed to coax him down with his favorite thing, food, But it was no use. Finnaly, the neighbors took the liberty to fetch a ladder and get him down. He was terrifyed, wet, and hungry, but happy to be united with his loving owners.

MORAL: YOUR CAT WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, EVEN IF IT RUNS AWAY.
